The anti-slit S shaped hook is made of a very special plastic material which is very strong, flexible and lengthening and rupture resistant. It has been especially developed to prevent slits and splits in fresh logs to be processed in sawmills, and in slicing and peeling industries.

Timber can be machined without removing the S-hook, which is not the case with a classical metal item. So one can saw, peel and slice logs, or plane lumber, with no fear to wear wood processing tools.
